The story is set in a Christmas time. Everybody is getting ready for a celebration, even the mice.
Grandfather brings gifts for the whole family and he also buys a mousetrap.
Grandmother puts a roasted nut on the trap and they wait for the next morning.
The mice, attracted by the smell of the nut, try to get it but their leader gets trapped!
The mice try to save their brave and beloved friend.
